One District One Product (ODOP) Pavilion at G20 Summit - 2023, Visakhapatnam

Department of Handlooms and Textiles, Government of Andhra Pradesh, recently exhibited handicrafts and handlooms in the One District One Product (ODOP) themed pavilion at G-20 Summit 2023 in Visakhapatnam. It showcased distinct handcrafted products from various districts of Andhra Pradesh. Design and execution of pavilion was done by Lepakshi Handicrafts and APCO.

During the event, Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and other senior officials visited ODOP pavilion, which was guided by Sri. Vishwa.M Garu, Executive Director of Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited.

Displayed products showcased the diversity and richness of Andhra Pradesh's crafts and culture, including handloom sarees, wooden toys, and horticulture products, each with its unique story and history. ODOP pavilion also featured live demonstrations of handloom weaving, pen kalamkari, crochet lace weaving, tholubommalata leather puppet shows, and Bobilli veena playing. Furthermore, various sweets from Andhra Pradesh were made available for attendees to enjoy at the pavilion.
