Lepakshi Thematic Exhibition at Bapu Museum, Vijayawada

The Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited held a Lepakshi Thematic exhibition at the Bapu Museum in Vijayawada from March 3rd to March 12th, 2023. The event was inaugurated on March 3rd by Smt. Shrivas Nupur Ajay Kumar Garu, IAS, Joint Collector and Additional District Magistrate of NTR District, Smt. Badiginchal Vijayalakshmi Garu, Honorable Chairperson of Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited, also visited along with Sri. Vishwa.M Executive Director of APHDCL.

The Craft Bazaar featured over 50 stalls, showcasing the impressive craftsmanship and cultural diversity of Andhra Pradesh. Visitors could find a wide range of handmade products, including embroidery fabrics, glass jewelry, hand printed textiles, Kalamkari paintings, Leather puppets, Jute crafts, lace dress material, toys from Kondapalli, terracotta potteries, dress material from Mangalagiri, woodworks, and more.

The exhibition provided an excellent platform for artisans and craftsmen to showcase their skills and talents and helped to promote and preserve the rich cultural heritage of Andhra Pradesh.
